Patna : Active cases count further declined to 272 in Bihar including 39 in Patna on August 12, 2021, as only 43 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 11, down from 47 a day before. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 9,646 on August 12. Active cases count in Bihar was 276 on August 11.
Bihar has registered 7,25,369 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,450 patients have been declared cured including 47 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.63%. The state has tested 3,91,49,488 samples so far including 1,51,482 samples on August 11, 2021.
The 43 new Covid-19 cases included 6 in Madhubani, 5 in Katihar, 4 in Patna, 4 in Purnia, 3 in Samastipur, 3 in Sitamarhi, 2 in Araria, and 2 in Madhepura.
