Patna : Active cases count increased to 258 in Bihar on March 3, 2022, as 41 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on March 2, 2022. The Active cases count in Bihar was 246 on March 2 as only 32 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 on March 1, 2022. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll remained static at 12,255 on March 3.
The 41 new Covid-19 cases included 12 in Patna, 5 in Samastipur, 5 in West Champaran, and 2 each in Bhagalpur, Katihar, 2 in Purnia, according to State Health Department figure. Bihar tested 1,20,108 samples on March 2, 2022.
Bihar has logged 8,30,197 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic of which 8,17,683 patients have recovered including 29 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.49% on March 3, 2022.
