Patna : With only 370 more persons testing positive for Covid-19 in the state on Jun3 15, the Active cases further dropped to 3,990 in Bihar including 385 in Patna on June 16, 2021. The Actice cases count was 4,359 in Bihar on June 15, 2021. Bihar also reported 9 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,523 in the state on June 16, 2021. The recovery rate (RR) of Covid-19 patients improved to 98.12% in Bihar on June 16 from 98.07% on June 15, 2021.
The 370 new Covid-19 cases included 34 in Patna, 27 in Saharsa, 22 in Nawada, 22 in Supaul, 18 in Gopalganj, 17 in Purnia, 15 in Saran, 14 in Madhepura, 12 in East Champaran, 12 in Muzaffarpur, 11 in Kishanganj, 11 in Nalanda, 11 in Araria, 8 in Madhubani, and 7 in Darbhanga. Bihar had reported 410 new Covid-19 cases on June 15.
The 9 new deaths due to Covid-19 included 2 in Saran, 2 in Muzaffarpur, and and 1 each in Madhepura, Madhubani, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga. With it, the toll climbed to 614 in Muzaffarpur, 356 in West Champaran, 351 in Darbhanga, 323 in Madhubani, 249 in Saran, 124 in Sitamarhi, and 111 in madhepura.
