Patna : Active cases count increased to 104 in Bihar including 20 in Patna on August 25, 2021, as 31 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 24, 2021, up from 9 cases a day before. Active cases count in Bihar was 101 on August 24, 2021. The state did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remained static at 9,650 on August 25, 2021.
Bihar has recorded 7,25,636 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,881 patients have been declared cured including 28 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining pegged at 98.63% on August 25, 2021. Bihar has tested 40910726 samples so far including 176736 samples on August 24, 2021.
The 31 new Covid cases included 8 in Saharsa, 6 in Madhepura, 6 in Patna, 3 in Araria, 2 in East Champaran, and 1 each in Arwal, Katihar, Kishanganj, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, and Vaishali.
