Patna : Active cases further declined to 3,188 in Bihar including 352 in Patna on June 20 as only 294 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 on June 19, 2021. The Active cases count was 3,395 in Bihar on June 19, 2021. Bihar also reported 7 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last24 hours taking the toll to 9,550 on June 20, 2021.
Of the 7,19,694 Covid-19 cases registered so far in Bihar, a total of 7,06,955 patients been declared cured including 494 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.23% on June 20 from 98.20% on June 19, 2021. Bihar has so far tested 3,20,97,259 samples including 1,06,662 samples on June 19, 2021.
The 294 new Covid-19 cases included 48 in Patna, 23 in Saharsa, 19 in Darbhanga, 17 in Araria, 16 in Purnia, 16 in Vaishali, 15 in Gopalganj, 14 in East Champaran, 11 in Muzaffarpur, 11 in Supaul, 10 in Saran, and 10 in Katihar.
The 7 new deaths due to Covid-19 included 2 in Supaul and 1 each in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Siwan, Darbhanga, and Gaya. With it, the toll climbed to 2,318 in Patna, 616 in Muzaffarpur, 352 in Darbhanga, 278 in Gaya, 165 in Siwan, and 125 in Supaul.
