Patna : Active cases count further declined to 240 in Bihar including i37n Patna on August 15, 2021, as only 28 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 14, down from 39 cases the day before. Active cases count in Bihar was 250 on August 14, 2021. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and toll remains pegged at 9,649 in the state.
Bihar has logged 7,25,483 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,593 patients have been declared cured including 38 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate remaining static at 98.63% on August 15, 2021. The state has tested 3,95,93,056 samples so far including 1,53,500 samples on August 15, 2021. The Covid-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 3 crore mark in Bihar.
The 28 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Muzaffarpur, 3 in Samastipur, 2 in Bhagalpur, 2 in Kishanganj, 2 in Lakhisarai, 2 in Madhepura, 2 in Purnia, 2 in Patna, and 2 in Vaishali.
