Patna : Active cases further dropped to 2,810 in Bihar including 337 in Patna on June 22 as just 268 more persons tested positive to Covid-19 in the state on June 21, 2021. The count of Active cases was 3,016 in Bihar on June 21, 2021. Bihar also recorded 6 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,563 in the state on June 22, 2021.
Of the 7,20,207 Covid-19 cases registered so far in Bihar, a total of 7,07,833 patients have been declared cured including 468 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.28% on June 22, 2021. Bihar has tested 3,22,90,057 samples so far including 1,06,644 samples on June 21, 2021.
The 268 new Covid-19 cases included 55 in Patna, 25 in Saran, 18 in Saharsa, 14 in Vaishali, 12 in Purnia, 12 in East Champaran, 10 in Bhagalpur, 10 in Katihar, 9 in Madhepura, 8 in Begusarai, 7 in Gaya, 7 in Siwan, 6 in Madhubani, 6 in Munger, and 6 in Gopalganj.
The six new deaths due to Covid-19 included 2 in Madhubani, and 1 each in Nalanda, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, and Khagaria. With it, the toll climbed tom 467 in Nalanda, 354 in darbhanga, 330 in Madhubani, 126 in Sitamarhi, and 86 in Khagaria.
