Patna : Active cases count declined to 140 in Bihar including 24 in Patna on August 22, 2021, even as 20 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on August 21, 2021, up from 8 persons the day before. Active cases count in Bihar was 146 on August 21, 2021.
Bihar has logged 7,25,568 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,15,798 patients have been declared cured including 26 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining static at 98.63%. The state has tested 4,05,09,275 samples so far including 1,37,973 samples on August 21, 2021. The 20 new Covid-19 cases included 5 in Patna, 5 in Saharsa, and 2 in Darbhanga.
