Patna : Active cases further declined to 2,141 in Bihar including 311 in Patna on June 27 as only 185 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on June 26, 2021. The Active cases count in the state was 2,249 on June 26, 2021. Bihar reported only 1 new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,579 in the state on June 27, 2021. Purnia reported 1 Covid death in last 24 hours.
Of the 7,21,299 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 7,09,578 patients have been declared cured including 292 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) improving to 98.38% in the state on June 27 from 98.36% on June 26, 2021. The state has tested 3,28,15,669 samples so far including 1,00,021 samples on June 26, 2021.
The 185 new Covid-19 cases included 16 in Samastipur, 16 in Purnia, 15 in Patna, 12 in Vaishali, 11 in Darbhanga, 11 in Muzaffarpur, 10 in Madhubani, 9 in Saharsa, 7 in Siwan, 7 in Supaul, 7 in Kishanganj, and 6 in Gaya.
