Bihar logs 16 Covid cases in last 24 hrs, Active cases count reaches 92

Patna : Active cases count climbed to 92 in Bihar including 67 in Patna on December 14, 2021, up from 84 cases a day before, as 16 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on December 13. Only 6 persons had tested positive for Covid-19 in Bihar on December 12, 2021. The state, however, did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll was standing at  12,091 on December 14.

Bihar has so far logged 7,26,341 Covid-19 cases so far pf which 7,14,157 patients have recovered including 8 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) standing at 98.32% on December 14. The state has tested 5,82,22,923 samples so far including 1,72,701 samples on December 13, 2021.

The 16 new Covid-19 cases included 10 in Patna, 2 in East Champaran,  and 1 each in Begusarai, Bhojpur, Nawada, and Samastipur, according to State Health Department figure. Meanwhile, the the state government has adminitered over 9 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses till December 14, 2021.
