Patna : Active cases as increased to 796 in Bihar including 114 in Patna on July 15 as 125 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on July 14, 2021, up from 113 on the previous day. Active cases count in Bihar was 785 on July 14. Bihar recorded 4 new deaths due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,625 in the state on July 15, 2021.
The state has so far registered 7,23,695 Covid-19 cases of which 7,13,273 patients have been declared cured including 110 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) remaining pegged at 98.56%. Bihar has tested 3,49,82,491 samples so far including 1,20,076 samples on July 14, 2021.
The 125 new Covid-19 cases included 13 in Patna, 9 in Bhagalpur, 9 in East Champaran,9 in Rohtas, 6 in Muzaffarpur, 6 in Begusarai, 6 in Darbhanga, 5 in Kishanganj, 4 in Nawada, 4 in Khagaria, 4 in Vaishali, and 4 in Lakhisarai.
The 4 new deaths due to Covid-19 included 2 in Patna, and 1 each in Madhuvabi and Khagaria. With this, the toll climbed to 2,329 in Patna, 332 in Madhubani, and 88 in Khagaria.
Meanwhile, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey on July 15, 2021, inspected the under-construction Cryogenic Oxygen Plant and Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA Plant on Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) campus.
