Patna : Active cases further dropped to 1,140 in Bihar including 191 in Patna on July 8 with 115 more persons testing positive for Covid-19, up from 104 on July 7, 2021. The Active cases count in Bihar was 1,182 on July 7, 2021. Bihar recorded 2 new deaths including 1 in Patna due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours taking the toll to 9,614 in the state on July 8.
The state has so far recorded 7,22,965 Covid-19 cases of which 7,12,210 patients have been declared cured including 155 in last 24 hours with the recovering rate (RR) being 98.51%. Bihar has tested 3,41,31,349 samples so far including 1,30,480 samples on July 7, 2021, according to State Health Department figure.
The 115 new Covid-19 cases included 15 in Patna, 11 in Kishanganj, 7 in Araria, 6 in Bhagalpur, 6 in Katihar, 6 in Madhubani, 5 in Muzaffarpur, and 5 in Purnia.
