Patna : Bihar Government on July 27, 2021, transferred IAS officers and posted one officer each of IRTS ( India Railways Traffic Service) and IRSS ( India Railways Stores Service).
Manoj Kumar, a 2007 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, Health Department, has been shifted and appointed Director, Secondary Education.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2007 batch IAS officer and Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council, too has been transferred and appointed Special Secretary, Health Department, replacing Manoj Kumar. Sanjay Kumar Singh will also hold additional charge of Executive Director, Bihar State Aids Control Society, and Executive Director, State Health Society.
Amrendra Prasad Singh, a 2007 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, Industry Department, has been transferred and appointed Director, Primary Education.
Giriwar Dayal Singh ( 2008), Special Secretary, Education Department, has been transferred and appointed Director, Youth Welfare & Sports Directorate. Dr Ranjit Kumar Singh ( 2008), Director, Primary Education, has been shifted and made Director, Panchayati Raj.
Dr Sanjay Sinha (2008), Director, Youth Welfare and Sports Directorate, has been shifted too and appointed Sugarcane Commissioner, Sugarcane Industry Department. Shrikant Shastry (2012), City Commissioner, Munger Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and appointed Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council.
Dilip Kumar, a 2000 batch IRTS officer, has been appointed Special Secretary, Industry Department. Sunny Sinha, an IRSS officer, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Transport Department. Both these officers have joined here on deputation.
The General Administration Department issued notification to this effect on July 27, 2021.
