Bihar Govt. transfers 18 IAS officers, DMs of Gopalganj & Sheohar shifted

Patna : Bihar Government, in an administrative reshuffle, transferred 18 IAS officers including the DMs of Sheohar and Gopalganj districts on September 20, 2019. The Government appointed eight 2016 batch IAS officers as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) cum Chief Executive Officer of different districts. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on September 20 itself.

Sheohar DM Arshad Aziz, a 2006 batch IAS officer, has been shifted and appointed DM, Gopalganj. Avanish Kumar Singh, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), has been transferred and appointed DM, Sheohar. Gopalganj DM Animesh Kumar Parashar, a 2010 batch IAS officer, has been shifted and appointed MD, State Food Corporation.

Radheshyam Sah, a 2005 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, Health Department, has been transferred and appointed Special Secretary, Revenue & Land Reforms Department. Dayanidhan Pandey, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, GAD, has been transferred and appointed Special Secretary, Social Welfare Department.

Uday Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2007 batch and Additional Secretary, Tourism Department, has been shifted and made Additional Secretary, GAD. He would continue to hold additional charge of Sugarcane Commissioner, Sugarcane Industry Department.

Raj Kumar, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Director, Social Security, Social Welfare Department, has been shifted and made Director, Social Welfare. Himanshu Kumar, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, GAD, has been shifted and appointed Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department.

Sunil Kumar Yadav, a 2012 batch IAS officer and Joint Secretary, Planning & Development Department, has been shifted and appointed Joint Secretary, Finance Department. Anand Sharma, a 2013 batch IAS officer and Joint Secretary, Tourism Department, has been shifted and appointed Joint Secretary, Co-operative Department. Kanwal Tanuj, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, Rural Development Department, has been given additional charge of MD, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation.

Anshul Agarwal, a 2016 batch IAS officer and SDO, Jhanjharpur in Madhubani District, goes to Bhojpur as DDC. Richi Pandey( 2016), SDO, Mahua in Vaishali District, goes to Begusarai as DDC. Ravi Prakash ( 2016), SDO, Forbesganj in Araria District, goes to Banka as DDC. Ms Varsha Singh ( 2016), SDO, Gopalganj, goes to Katihar as DDC. Mukul Kumar Gupta ( 2016), SDO, Sitamarhi, goes to Jehanabad as DDC.

Anshul Kumar ( 2016), SDO, Danapur in Patna District, goes to Aurangabad as DDC. Vaibhav Chaudhary ( 2016), SDO, Hilsa in Nalada District, goes to Nawada as DDC. Vijay Prakash Meena ( 2016), SDO, Bagaha in West Champaran District, goes to Vaishali as DDC.
