Patna : Bihar Government on November 4, 2019, transferred four IPS officers including the SPs of Muzaffarpur, West Champaran, and Supaul.
Muzaffarpur SSP Manoj Kumar, an IPS officer of 2008 batch, has been transferred and appointed SP, Supaul. West Champaran SP Jayant Kant, a 2009 batch IPS officer, has been shifted and appointed SSP, Muzaffarpur.
Nitasha Gudia, a 2008 batch IPS officer and Commandant , BMP-2, Dehri-on-Sone, holding additional charge of Commandant, Mahila Battalion, Sasaram, has been shifted and appointed SP, West Champaran, replacing Jayant Kant. Rohtas SP Satyavir Singh, a 2008 batch IPS officer, has been given additional charge of Commandant, BMP-2, and Commandant, Mahila Battalion.
Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary, SP, Supaul, has been transferred and appointed Commandant cum Principal, Constable Training Centre, Simultallah, Jamui. The Home (police) department issued a notification to this effect on November 4, 2019.
