Bihar Govt. prpomotes 6 IAS officers to Jt. Secretary rank

Patna : Bihar Government on July 23, 2019, promoted six IAS officers including five of 2015 batch to Joint Secretary rank. While Avanish Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2010 batch and Deputy Secretary, General Administration (GAD) Department, has been promoted to Joint Secretary Payscale with effect from July 10, 2014, five IAS officers of 2015 batch : Suharsh Bhagat, Aman Sameer, Prashant Kumar, Ghanshyam Meena, and Manesh Kumar Meena, have been promoted to Joint Secretary scale with effect from January 1, 2019. The GAD issued a notification to this effect on July 23 itself.

Ghanshyam Meena is at present City Commissioner, Darbhanga, while Manesh Kumar Meena is City Commissioner, Muzaffarpur. Suharsh Bhagat is DDC, Patna, while Aman Smeer is DDC, Purnia. Prashant Kumar is DDC, Munger.
