Patna : Bihar government on October 11, 2017, deputed 1o officials of Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) in the rank of Deputy Secretary to Patna Collectorate for two days in view of PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Patna on October 14. They will be on deputation to Patna Collectorate on October 13 and 14, 2017.
These BAS officers will assist Patna district administration in maintaining law and order during the visit of the Prime Minister. The General Administration Department (GAD) has asked these officails to give their joining report to the Patna DM by 9.30 am on October 13.
PM Modi will launch the centenary celebrations of Patna University (PU) at Patna Science College on October 14. The Patna district administration has asked PU authorities to issue separate IDs to the teachers and students participating in the centenary celebrations. Adequate number of CCTV cameras are being installed at the venue. The district administration has also ordered for river patrolling as the PU is located on the bank of river Ganga. President Ram Nath Kovind is likely to attend the closing ceremony of the centenary celebration.
PM Modi will also lay foundation of several schemes at Mokama in Patna district on October 14.
