Bettiah : Bihar DGP  Gupteshwar  Pandey on September 15, 2019, visited many police stations in West Champaran District and Bagaha Police District. The police stations inspected by the DGP during his hectic schedule included Inarawa police station in West Champaran District and Ramnagar police station in Bagaha Police District located on Indo-Nepal border.

DGP Pandey first visited Inarawa Police Station  around 1.30 am  and then Ramnagar Police Station. The DGP earlier addressed children at a programme and advised  them to participate in enforcing prohibition in Bihar.

DGP Pandey then held a meeting with Station House Officers (SHOs) of all the police stations at Bagaha. The DGP  held his second  meeting at Bettiah, headquarters of West Champaran District. The DGP asked  Bagaha SP Rajiv Ranjan and West Champaran SP Jayant Kant to strictly implement prohibition and check crime to bring peace in the society. The DGP congratulated SP of both West Chamaparan and Bagaha for maintaining peace during Muharram.
