Patna : Bihar Government on July 4, 2020, issued a notification extending the service of Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar, a 1984 batch IAS officer, for six months from September 1, 2020, to February 28, 2021, following approval from the Government of India on July 2, 2020.
Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar was earlier given an extension in service for six months from March 1, 2020, to August 31, 2020. He was scheduled to superannuate on February 29, 2020.
