Patna : Bihar Cabinet on November 21, 2017, gave its approval to a proposal of Home ( Police) Department for creation of a non-cadre post of IG ( Prohibition) in the CID. The State Cabinet also approved a proposal of the Home ( Police) Department to convert the post of SP (Officer on Special Duty), CID, as SP ( Prohibition), CID.
The Cabinet, at its meeting on November 21, also aproved a proposal of the Department for return ( pratyarpit) of 68 posts in different offices of Police Headquarters and creation of equal number of posts of the same rank in the CID.
The Cabinet also gave admistrative approval to a proposal of Building Construction Department for construction of ‘Bihar Sadar’ at Dwarka, Delhi, at acost of Rs 78.87 crore.
