Bhojpur SP suspends SHO, Dhobaha Police Outpost

Ara : Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar on September 20, 2019, suspended Station House Officer incharge, Dhobaha police outpost, (OP) Dayasindhu Tiwari, with immediate effect for dereliction of duty. He deputed Laxmi Patel, an SI at Ara Town police station, as SHO, Dhobaha police out.

SP Sushil Kumar said that he had received a complaint that the SHO incharge, Dhobaha police outpost, had not lodged any FIR for the last one week and even the station diary is  not up-to-date. After inquiry, thet complaint was found correct and so action was taken against him.

Director General of Police, Bihar, Gupteshwar Pandey, had made a sudden inspection of Nawada police station, Ara,  about a fortnight ago and served show cause notices on its SHO and other police officials for not maintaining station diary. Even the SP had asked the SHOs and other police officials to maintain station diary and not keep pending people’s grievances. But, the SHO, Dhobaha police station, did not pay heed to the direction and avoided lodging any FIR and maintain station diary.
