Ara : Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar on April 22, 2020, suspended Station House Officer (SHO), Bihia police station (PS), Ram Lakhan Prasad, with immediate effect for dereliction of duty.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that a person had lodged complaint with police alleging that the SHO, Bihia police station, was not instituting an FIR. The SP served show cause notice on the SHO and also directed the DSP to inquire into the matter. After the DSP submitted his report, Bhojpur SP suspended the SHO with immediate effect on April 22, 2020, for dereliction of duty. The SP further said that laxity on the part of any SHO would not be tolerated.
