Ara : Bhojpur police had to submit second charge-sheet in the court of Additional District and Session sJudge (ADJ) I, Ara , R K Singh, on September 21, 2019, against four persons allegedly involved in a sex racket as they had failed to mention the name of witnesses in the first chargesheet.
The police had filed first chargesheet in the court against four persons on September 19, 2019, but they failed to mention the name of the witnesses in it. The court ordered police to submit another chargesheet mentioning the name of the witnesses and so they had to file second chargesheet in the court. The chargesheet was filed against owner of a sex racket centre Anita Devi, mastermind Sanjay Paswan alias Jija alias Pandit, broker Sanjeet Kumar alias Chhotu, and a MNREGA Engineer posted at Tarari in Bhojpur district Amresh Kumar Singh. All the four persons are languishing in Ara jail.
Meanwhile, police prayed the court to issue warrant of property attachment against RJD MLA from Sandesh Arun Yadav in connection with sex scandal. Police had pasted Ishtehars (Proclamation notices) on the walls of houses of the MLA at Agiaw Bazaar, Lasadhi, and also in Patna on September 18, 2019.
After the name of the RJD MLA Arun Yadav figured in the second statement of a minor girl recorded in the court under Section 164 of CrPC at the instance of the Mahila Vikas Manch and a video of the girl went viral on the social media in which she accusing the MLA of outraging her modesty, police swung into action and conducted raids to at different places from Ara to Patna to arrest him but in vain. Police then prayed the court to issue Ishtehar. The court ordered for Ishtehar to be pasted on the walls of the houses of the MLA from Ara to Patna. Despite this, the MLA did not surrender before the court.
