Bhojpur police sends skull to FSL

Ara : Bhojpur police, after getting permission from the court, sent a skull to the Forensic Science Laboratory , (FSL), Patna, on June 27, 2017, for various tests. Police had recovered the skull from a ditch on the bank of river Sone at Sandesh in Bhojpur district on June 26 and brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital. But, the doctors there referred it to Patna Medical College and Hospital for further investigation.

SHO, Sandesh Police Station, Birendra Kumar said that police had recovered skull of a 15 year old boy but the body could not be found. He said the real cause behind his death can be ascertained only after the FSL report comes. He said that the condition of the skull showed that someone had chopped off the head about a fortnight ago and threw it into a ditch near river Sone.
