Ara : Police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid under Tarari police station (PS) area in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on  June 13, 2021, and seized 3,972 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) loaded on a truck, one truck, two cars, three motorcycles, four mobile phones, and Rs 5,000 in cash.

Police also arrested threepersons :Harendra Singh (liquor smuggler), son of Dinanath Singh of Jarlaahi Mathia village under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas District in South Bihar, Deepak Singh (driver), son of Dhharmendra Pal of Tundala village under the same police station in Firozabad District in Uttar Pradesh, and Rakesh Kumar (driver), son of Mahavir Singh of Dhaikaaul village under Tundala police station in Firozabad District in Uttar Pradesh. Later, police sent them to jail after lodging  a named FIR against them.

Bhojpur SP Rakesh Kumar Singh on June 13, 2021, said that he got information that a truck loaded with IMFL was being brought over to an area under Tarari PS. The SP at once formed a police team under SHO, Tarari PS, Vijay Prasad, and police conducted raid and seized 3,972 bottles of IMFL loaded on truck, two cars, three motorcycles, four mobile phones, and Rs 5,000  cash., SP Dubey said.
