Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a missing teenage girl from a house at village Zamira under Ara Muffassil police station on March 21, 2018, and brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.
SHO, Barhara police station, said that a girl of village Mahudahi under Barahara police station had gone to the field to attend a call of nature on March 2, 2018, but did not return. A named FIR was lodged with Barhara police station against a tractor driver Chhotu Singh, son of Upendra Singh of village Bakhorapur under Barhara police station, on the statement of Shail Kumari Kuer, mother of the girl, alleging that her daughter had been kidnapped.
On March 21, 2018, police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Zamira and recovered the girl from a house after 19 days though Chhotu Singh could not be arrested.
