Bhojpur police conducts raids at houses of 2 Members of Buxar District Board

Ara : Bhojpur police with the help of their Buxar counterpart conducted raids at the residences of two Members of Buxar District Board : Arvind Kumar Shahi alias Bunty Shahi and Bijay Mishra, in connection with misappropriation of Rs 60 lakh of a farmer of Bhojpur district. But, police failed to arrest them.

Pankaj Tripathi of village Belauti under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district had filed a complaint case in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ara, against four persons including two Members of Buxar district board : Arvind Kumar Shahi alias Bunty Shahi and Bijay Mishra, in connection with misappropriation of his Rs 60 lakh in March 2018 and on the direction of the court, a named FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station against them.

Tripathi had complained that in March 2018 that a construction company, PNC Infratech and people linked to it, during construction of NH 84, had dug soil worth about Rs 60 lakh from his land and when he protested, they threatened him with dire consequences.
