Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested a miscreant in connection with murder of an elderly woman, Nirmala Kuer,78, wife of late Parmeshwar Chaudhary of village Bhakura under Ara Muffassil police station (PS) on January 28, 2022, at her village. The arrested miscreant has been identified as Rahul Kumar, 19, son of Gopal Prasad Chaudhary of village Bhakura in Bhojpur District in South Bihar.
Bhojpur SP Vinay Tiwari on January 31, 2022, said that Nirmala Kuer was killed with an iron rod at Bhakura village under Ara Muffassil PS on January 28, 2022, and an FIR was lodged by Ara Muffassil police station in this connection with on the statement of Ravindra Chaudhary, son of the deceased.
After institution of FIR, the SP formed a police team under ASP cum SDPO, Ara, Himanshu, and police on the basis of mobile phone surveillance and scientific investigation, arrested Rahul Kumar from his village Bhakura on January 30, 2022, and sent him to jail after interrogation. The police, on his confession and revelation, also recovered sweater, towel, pants, shirt, T-Shirt of the miscreants which were stained with the blood of the deceased.
