Bhojpur police arrest wanted criminal Dhanjee Yadav

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Saiya Dera under Karnamepur Police Outpost on March 2, 2019,  and arrested a most wanted criminal Dhanjee Yadav and seized a countrymade pistol, four live cartridges, and a shardedged weapon from his possession though his other associates managed to escape.

Police later sent Dhanjee Yadav jail after interrogation. Dhanjee Yadav was wanted a number of murder and extortion (rangdari) cases. A named FIR was lodged by Karnamepur police station against him under the Arms Act.

SHO, Karnamepur Police Outpost, Santosh Kumar said that he got information that a miscreants Shankar Yadav, who was wanted in connection with attack on police force, was seen at village Saiya Dera on February 28, 2019, night, and was hatching plans to commit crime somewhere in the area along with his aides. The SHO said that he along with other police officials conducted raids at village Saiya Dera but Shankar Yadav, seeing police, escaped from the scene but Dhanjee Yadav was arrested.
