Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids and arrested two miscreants with firearms in connection with murder of an AC mechanic within 24 hours of incident. Later, police sent them to jail after interrogation.
Some armed miscreants had shot dead an AC mechanic Sushil Yadav, 28, son of late Mahendra Yadav near Ambedkar Colony under Ara Town police station (PS) on February 22, 2022, morning, when he was returning home at Moti Tola under Town PS from market on his motorcycle. An FIR was lodged by Town PS in this connection against three persons on the statement of deceased’s brother.
SHO, Town PS, said that Sushil Yadav had criminal background and two criminal cases were pending against him with the police station and added he had been jailed too. He was shot at and injured eight months ago, the SHO said and added that he was absconding for a month in a case.
The SHO further said that after institution of FIR, the SP incharge Swapna Meshram formed a police team under ASP Himanshu that conducted raids and arrested two miscreants along with firearms used in the murder.
