Ara : Police on September 8, 2020, arrested two brothers with the help of teachers when they were threatening Headmaster of a Middle School at Pratappur under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur Distric6 in South Bihar and sent them to jail after interrogation. Police also seized a countrymade pistol and a motorcycle from their possession.

The arrested brothers were identified as Rajesh Kumar and Ranjan Kumar of village Badiha under Sandesh police station. A named FIR has been lodged by Sandesh police station against them on the statement of the Middle School Headmaster Saroj Kumar.

SHO, Sandesh police station, said that Saroj Kumar of Mahadeva village under Nasariganj police station in Rohtas district is posted as Headmaster at Pratappur Middle School. He was sitting at his chamber with an assistant teacher Sudhanshu Kumar on September 8, 2020, when two brothers : Rajesh Kumar and Ranjan Kumar of Badiha village, came on their motorcycle and abruptly entered the chamber. They pointed countrymade pistol at the Headmaster and compelled him to issue them School Leaving Certificate (SLC) of Class VIII pass threatening him withf dire consequences.

Meanwhile, the assistant teacher, who was sitting behind them, snatched the pistol from Rajesh Kumar while the Headmaster caught Ranjan Kumar. On getting information, police rushed to the spot and the Headmaster and the teacher handed over both the brothers to them with firearms.
