Ara : Bhojpur police, with the help of their Saran counterpart, on April 2, 2020, arrested a murder case accused Ranjeet Rai from village Suratpur under Doriganj police station in Saran District in North Bihar. The accused was absconding for the last five years.
SHO, Barhara police station, Awadheh Kumar said that a farmer Gopal Pandey was killed at village Babura under Barhara police station in Bhojpur district in 2015 for a piece of land. The deceased was a resident of village Sabalpur in Saran district and had a piece of land at Babura in Bhojpur district. Ranjeet Rai was made named accused in this case but was absconding since.
