Ara : Police arrested four miscreants from near Sanjay Gandhi College at Ibrahimpur under Ara town police station in Bhojpur District and seized two countrymade pistols, 2 live cartridgesof 7.65 mm caliber, 2 live cartridges of 8mm caliber, three Android mobile phones  and one motorcycle from their possession.

The arrested miscreants were identified as Jai Prakash Mahto alias Goakh Mahto, Satya Prakash alias Kairya Mahto, both  sons of Kamta Prasad Singh; Vikki Kumar, son of Anand Bihari Mahto of Ibrahimnagar under Ara town police station; and Pawan Kumar, son of late Shyamdeo Rai of Daudpur under Shahpur police station in Patna district, presently living at Kulharia under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur. Police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP Binay Tiwari talking to mediapersons on July 28, 2021, afternoon, said that some motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants had shot dead Raju Chaudhary, son of late Naresh Chaudhary, at his cloth shop at Sakaddi under Koelwar police station on July 14, 2021, and an FIR was lodged with Koelwar police station in this connection. A police team under SDPO Binod Kumar was formed to arrest the miscreants.

The SP added that during investigation, police team was informed that some armed miscreants including those involved in the murder of Raju Chadhary were hatching plan of loot and had gathered near Sanjay Gandhi College at Ibrahimnagar under Ara town police station.  Police immediately conducted raids and arrested four miscreants with arms and ammunition.
