Bhojpur police arrest 2 accused in Kartik Mushar murder case

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants from a house at village Chakwa under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district on March 27, 2018, in connection with murder of Kartik Mushar and forwarded them to jail after interrogation.

ASP Dayashankar Singh said that some miscreants had slit throat of Kartik Mushar, 30, at Shivpur Dihari under Dhangai police station on March 17, 2018. He was son of Dukhit Mushar of village Mahuar under Agiaw police station Later, an FIR was lodged with Dhangai police station against five persons.

Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar formed a police team under ASP Dayashankar Singh to arrest the miscreants. The ASP said that he got information on March 27 that two out of five miscreants had taken shelter at a house at village Chakwa. He immediately swung into action and conducted raids at Chakwa and arrested Naga Mushar of Mahuar village under Agiaw policestation and Kariman Mushar of Mansagar village under Charpokhari police station. He said that the police are searching for three other accused.

The ASP further said that Kartik Mushar and Naga Mushar had a tiff on Holi festival over a trivial. Naga Musahar along with his four associates kidnapped Kartik Mushar and later slit his throat with a sharpedged weapon and threw the body at Shivpur Dihari under Dhangai police station.
