Ara : A police team has been sent to Muzzaffarpur to bring the body of a sand labourer Md Fariyad Ali who had disappeared from Khangawa Sand ghat under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on March 5, 2017, back under mysterious circumstances.

Muzzaffarpur police recovered body of an unidentified person from Vishhar locality under Karaza police station on Badakagon-Alipur main road on March 8. Family members of the deceased have  accompanied the police team. On getting information, SHO, Chandi Police Station, Dhananajay Sharma contacted SHO, Karaza police station, Dinesh Yadav who confirmed recovery of an unidentified person. Later, the body was identified as of Md Fariyad Ali with the help of social media. How Fariyad Ali reached Muzaffarpur, around 150 km from Khangawa, remains shrouded in mystery. It is said that the miscreants killed him and carried the body in a truck there to erase evidence.

Md Fariyad Ali, 40, son of Ahmad Mian of Akhgaon village under Chandi police station, had disappeared from the Khangawa sand ghat on March 5 morning and an FIR was also lodged with Chandi police station. The family members suspect he was killed.
