Bhambri qualifies for Miami Open ATP Masters 1000 event

Patna : World Number 107 in the ATP rankings Yuki Bhambri, 25, India, has qualified for the main draw of Miami Open ATP Masters 1000 event at Florida, USA, after clearing the qualifiers. Bhambri defeated World Number 133 Elias Yemer, 21, Sweden, 7-5, 6-2, on March 20, 2018, to qualify for the 128 player main draw.

Bhambri had defeated world Number 184 Renzo Olivo, 26, Argentina, 6-4, 6-1, in the first round of the qualifiers on March 19, 2018. World Number 1 Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, is the defeanding champion of the tournament. The two-week tournament is played at Crandon Park tennis centre, MIami, Florida, USA.

Bhambri also had to play qualifiers to enter the main draw of Indian Wells ATP Masters 1000 tournament at Califoria, USA. He had reached third round at Indian Wells.
