Saharsa : Police on May 7, 2017, arrested a betelshop owner Subhash Chairasia from Patori Bazaar under Bihra police station for manufacturing fake insecticides without licence. Bihra police team accompanied by Chief Analyst of Crop Science Limited Kumar Dayashankar conducted raid at the betelshop at Patori Bazaar on May 7 and seized 280 empty bottles and 62 full bottles of an insecticide from there and arrested betelshop owner Chaurasia.
Chaurasia told police that he was advised by some businessmen of Patori bazaar to produce insecticide and generate good income. Kumar Dayashankar said that he had received secret information that fake insecticide was being produced at village Bihra and informed police about it.
