Ara :: Beheaded body of a youth was found in Banas river at Barap Tola under Gadhani police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on January 24, 2021, morning.
Later, police brought the beheaded body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police are searching for the head. The body is yet to be identified.
SHO, Gadhani PS, said that some villagers had gone to the bank of the river to attend call of nature on January 24, 2021, morning, where they saw beheaded body of a youth floating in the river. They informed police about it. On their information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and also informed the family members of the youth.
The villagers said that the body was lying unattended on the bank of river for hours together and the dogs were seen tinching it. The youth was wearing pants, shirt, sweater, and a gold ring in his hand that showed that he belonged to a rich family. A video of the dogs tinching the body went viral on social media.
