Begusarai: A Begusarai court on Friday sentenced four persons to life imprisonment for killing driver of a Bolero, injuring his assistant and looting the vehicle. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 40,000 on each of the four convicts, who hail from Dalsingsarai in Samastipur district. The four convicts Ashok Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Jitendra Kumar and Amresh Kumar had hired the Bolero on August 2, 2009, but later on looted the vehicle after killing the driver and injuring his assistant.
