Patna : IIT JEE ( Advanced) Exam 2017 results were declared on June 11, 2017, at 10 am. Arsh Gautam, a native of village Jagatpura Ulao in Begusarai district based in Delhi, secured an All India rank of 72 getting 310 marks. The examination was held on May 21, 2017. Chandigarh boy Sarvesh Mehtani has topped the exam.

Arsh underwent coaching at Narayana Institute, Dwarka, Delhi, was all praise for his mentor U P Singh, who took care of his education standard IX onwards. Arsh’s father Amitabh Roy, a small time contractor in Delhi, said his son studied 1-12 hours daily and gave all credit for his success to his mentor U P Singh. Singh claimed that 64 students of Dwarka branch of the institute had cracked IITJEE (Advanced) in 2017.

All the 30 students of Anand Kumar’s Super 30, Patna, have also cracked IITJEE ( Advanced) Exam 2017. There are over 11,000 seats in the 23 IITs across the country.
