Ara: Hari Narayan Singh Institute of Teachers’ Education, Harigaon, Jagdishpur, affiliated to Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, has got NAAC accreditation with B Grade.
Vice-Chancellor, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah said that the Hari Narayan Singh Institute of Teachers’ Education has got NAAC accreditation becoming the first BEd College to get it. The VC has asked other BEd Colleges to try for NAAC accreditation. He has also directed principals of all the constituent colleges under VKSU to apprise him of the latest development regarding their efforts towards NAAC accreditation. He said the colleges that had submitted Self Study Report (SSR) should fix date for the visit of NAAC team and colleges that had not submitted SSR so far must submit the same by December 20, 2016, otherwise action would be taken against the principals concerned. He said the principals may contact the office of the Coordinator College Development Committee (CCDC) if they have any difficulty and added that a workshop has been organized at the VKSU on December 18 for apprising the principals and other officials of the university to help them get NAAC accreditation.
The VC said that a three-member NAAC team comprising Prof D Prabha, Vice Chancellor, Keral University, Prof A B Prasad Rai of Andhra Pradesh University, Hyderabad, and Prof Suniti Ghoshal of Vardhman University, West Bengal, will visit Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel College, Bhabhua, on December 19, 2016, and will stay there till December 21, 2016. During their visit, the team members will watch the educational and other activities of the college. Earlier, Mahila College, Dalmianagar, and Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay, Ara, had got NAAC accreditation.
