BCE-NITP Alumni Society to hold alumni meet on Feb 4

Patna : The BCE-NITP Alumni Society will hold its annual alumni meet on February 4, 2018. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, a product of Bihar College of Engineering (BCE), Patna, which was converted into NITP in 2004, will be the Chief Guest of the function, according to Secretary, BCE-NITP Alumni Society, Prof. Girish Kumar Chaudhary. The Chief Minister has given his consent to attend the meet, he said.

Padma Shri Manas Bihari Verma, an engineer, will be be felicitated on the occasion, Chaudhary said. Verma was conferred on Padma Shri on January 26, 2018. The graduates of 1958, 1968 and 1992 batches of the college would be feliciated as Diamond, Golden and Silver Jubilee members on the occasion, Chaudhary added. Gold Medal winners of 2017 batch of the college would also be honoured at the meet, he said. A cricket match between the college teachers and engineers will also be held on the occasion besides the Musical Chair. The BCE was established in 1924.
