Patna : BCE-NITP Alumni Association on July 23, 2017, bid farewell to the outgoing Director Prof Asok De. Appreciating the works done by Prof Dey, speakers said that during his tenure of five years, NIT Patna achieved much in the infrastructure development and academics.
Er. Ravi Shankar Sinha, Prof Santosh Kumar and Prof Girish Kr. Choudhary spoke high of Prof De. Prof Santosh Kumar read out the Felicitation Document (Maan Patra). The association also welcomed the new Director Prof Rajeev Tripathi who will be holding additional charge of NIT Patna alongwith MNIT Allahabad.
Prof De was presented with a largte statue of Didarganj Yakshini. ProfTripathi was also felicitated with a shawl. Chitra De was also felicitated on the occasion. Prof Sanjay Kumar proposed a vote of thanks. Prof. Santosh Kumar conducted the proceeding, according to Secretary of the association Girish K Chaudhary.
