Patna : Fifth seed Nikoloz Basilashvili, 29, Georgia, beat 7th seed Jan-Lennard Struff, 31, Germany, in straight sets in final to lift the men’s singles title at BMW Open, an ATP 250 points outdoor clay courts tournament, at Munich, Germany, on May 2, 2021.
World No 35 Basilashvili defeated World No 44 Struff 6-4, 7-6 in final in 1hr 26 minutes in final overcoming 13 Aces hammered by the German. Basilashvili fired 6 Aces.
