Basant Mishra is new head of Geology department, PU

Patna : Dr Basant Kumar Mishra, professor in Science College, on Friday evening joined as new head of the department of Geology of Patna University (PU). He succeeds Dr M N Sinha who took over as principal of Patna Science College from Dr Ramjatan Sinha who superannuated after completing 42 years as teacher in chemistry department.

The vice-chancellor of Patna University issued notifications regarding new appointments on Friday after he returned here from New Delhi. Teachers and students of Science College gave a farewell dinner to Dr Ramjatan Sinha in the Science College in the evening. The VC and other officials of PU and teachers of college were present. Principal Sinha hosted the dinner.
