Banks will have enough cash within two days: GOI official

Muzaffarpuro: Deputy Secretary, ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Palka Sahni, on November 23 told bank officials, farmers and businessmen that the banks would get enough cash within two days and limit on drawal of cash from banks would be over. She attributed the limit put on drawal of cash to inadequate cash. She was taking feedback from bankers, farmers, businessmen, members of PACS on demonetisation. She was informed about problems facing the people in drawing cash from ATMs and exchange of scrapped currencies. Bank officials also narrated their problems. Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh presided over the meeting.
