Patna : Bangladesh struggled to reach 152/6 in 32.3 overs at stumps on Day 2 in their 2nd innings in the 2nd test against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, as fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav again wreaked havoc sharing six wickets between  them. Ishant Sharma, who had taken 5/22 in Bangladesh’s first innings, has taken 4/39 in 9 overs so far in their 2nd innings while Umesh Yadav has taken 2/40.

Bangladesh, who were all out for 106 in their first innings, still trail by 89 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim is unbeaten on 59 in 70 balls with 10 fours while Mahmudullah retired hurt after scoring 39.

Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque fell to Ishant Sharma for a duck thus getting a pair in the match. Opener Shadman Islam also fell to Ishant for a duck. His opening partner Imrul Kayes fell to Ishant for 5 while Mohammad Mithun(wk) fell to Umesh Yadav for 6. Bangladesh were 13/4 at one stage. Mehidy Hasan fell to Ishant for 15 while Taijul Islam fell to Umesh for 11 making it 152/6.

Earlier, India declared their first innings at 347/9 in 89.4 overs in the second session of play on Day 2 with captain Virat Kohli scoring 136 in 194 balls with 18 fours, his 27th test century, Cheteswar Pujara scoring 55 and Ajinkya Rahane 51.Wriddhiman Saha remained unbeaten on 17. Kohli fell to fast bowler Ebadat Hossain while Rahane fell to Taijul Islam. Pujara fell to Ebadat Hossain.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja fell to Abu Jayed for 12 while Ravichandran Ashwin fell to Al-Amin Hossain for 7. Umesh Yadav fell to Abu Jayed for a duck while Ishant Sharma fell to Al-Amin for a duck.

For Bangladesh, Al-Amin Hossain took 3/85 while Ebadat Hossain took 3/91. Abu Jayed took 2/77 while Taijul Islam took 1/80.
