Patna : Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe by an innings & 106 runs in the one-off test at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Day 4 on February 25, 2020. Bangladesh has won a test match after a gap of 15 months.
Bangladesh, who had scored 265 runs in their first innings with captain Craig Ervine scoring 107, were all out for 189 runs in their second innings with Ervine scoring 43 ( run out) and Timycen Maruma scoring 41 runs with Bangaladesh off spinner Nayeem Hasan taking 5/82 and Taijul Islam taking 4/78. Bangladesh had declared their first innings at 560/6 on February 24, 2020, with Mushfiqur Rahim scoring an unbeaten 203, his 3rd double century in tests, and captain Mominul Haque scoring 132. Mushfiqur Rahim was declared Player of The Match.
