Bagaha : A large number of people under aegis of Bagaha Vikas Manch led by Rakesh Singh, Dayashanker Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh and Vikash Rai on January 15 morning reached Bagaha bus stand and garlanded drivers of Patna bound `Lav- Kus' and Mata-Di' bus travels besides drivers of Rana and Valmiki bus services running between Bagaha and Bettiah for driving on NH 28(b) despite its poor conditioan.They also gave `Hanuman Chalisa’ to each passengers.
A spokes man of Vikas Manch Rakesh Singh said that when Nitish Kumar was union road transport and highways minister in Atal Behari Vajpayee government state border highway(64) was converted into National highway 28 (b) but the road is still in very poor shape and full of potholes. He said the novel way of protest was aimed at getting immediate attention of Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadakari.
