Bagaha police arrest female maoist in former Mukhia murder case

Bagaha : A suspected  female Maoist Nisha Manjhi, 19, daughter of Shankar Manjhi of village Banahawa tola, Gonauli, under Valmikinagar police station, a named accused in murder case of Manoj Singh, former mukhiya of Champapur-Gonauli panchayat, was arrested on January 30, 2019, early morning by Bagaha police district special task force (STF) from Valmikinar police station  area.

Bagaha SP Arvind Kumar Gupta said that Nisha Manjhi had joined the banned Maoist group a year back. The SP said the she had taken active  part in killing of former mukhiya Manoj Singh, who was killed on August 12, 2018, at his native village Malakauli  under Valmikinagar police station.  SP Gupta said that arrested female maoist confessed her involvement in the killing Manoj Singh before police. Four accused of the case had been arrested so far, SP Gupta said.
